The day before the engagement
I was really busy on this day 06/07/07 as my engagement was only a day away. I still feel that I had so much to do and I'm rushing for everything.
I had to to more shopping at Sheng Siong with my day. It's been a week since I last met my baby. I miss him so much & definitely can't wait for my engagement day.
My last 'gubahan' that I need was a basket of mix teas. My baby & the whole family is a tea fan. They won't start their day or even go on with their routines without a cup of 'Teh Tarik'. This has brought a brilliant idea for me. Something people have not done before. Unique but meaningful.
There it was - Assorted Teas & Chocolates and my work is done.
people go around asking me on who is making all the decorations for my engagement? I shall proudly say that I've did it on my own and of course without help from my godfather, I don't think I could finish everything on time. - Thank you abah for bringing me to places I have to go and helping me cleaning up the mess. Hehe.
Okay.. Apart from that I still need to go Geylang to prepare the flowers and all.. I went with my sister and it was a mistake cause we ended up shopping at This Fashion over at Paya Lebar S'pore Post Centre.. Haiz.. Waste time lagik!!
We manage to get ourselves a few tops.. So much of good time management..
When we reached home, it was just work, work & more work. My sis had to help me prepare the ' Murtabak Krim Kraker ' ingredients so it's easier for me to proceed with th cooking.. Wow, dah macam Chef Wan tau...
Later that night at 7.30pm, Shereen came over to do my henna. I had purposely chose a simple design just for the engagement.

By then my hands were so occupied!! I had to demand people to do things for me.. Best!!! For the first time, all I had to do was order. Even my mum had to feed me.. haha
This was a very stressful day for me. I had planned a very simple engagement and not knowing that "simple" means a lot of hassle..
